'Beach Walks'

$850.00

A loose and abstract representation of the Half Moon Bay / Black Rock beach cliffs that I walk along each morning.

The muted colours are used to express the soft morning light as the sun is rising, the overlay of loose circles connecting to the gravel paths and finer details included as a reference to the local animals and insects that call Black Rock home.

This style of painting is so meditative for me, and allows me freedom in thought and movement in opposition to my more dominant style of architectural structure (in my geometric pieces).

I usually love to work on both styles simultaneously to create a friction in my practice and challenge my boundaries as I paint.
