I have always loved the calming presence of whales, and this piece was inspired by a visit to Noosa and missing out on seeing whales up close.
The whale is viewed from behind as she makes her way into the deep ocean, creating a sense of peace and stillness, unaffected by the noise and clutter of the world above.
