'No One is Coming'

$1,410.00

This piece is based on my favourite tree on the Bayside trail walk. It represents resilience against the brutal ocean wind, bending but refusing to break.

In 2023 I made a lifestyle change for my physical and mental health, cutting out sugar and getting up an hour early every morning (wind, hail or shine) to walk.

This tree is a reminder that nobody is coming to push us to be better, to exercise, to get out of bed, to try new things, that we only have ourselves. No-one is coming to do it for us.

This tree has watched me on this journey and represents that drive, determination and perseverance.
